GLA Children & Community Development Programs
If you want to interact with children, work on community building projects, and experience the amazing culture and community of Belize, look no further! On this program you'll have the chance to see Belize in an authentic and meaningful way. From visiting the world-renowned Belize Zoo to swimming in crystal-clear rainforest waterfalls, you'll build leadership skills and make life-long friends as you go.
Costa Rica is famous for its education system, including its impressive 98% literacy rate, and on this program you'll have a front row seat to the progress being made. You'll work on projects at local schools that directly benefit the children attending them. All the while, you'll form relationships with kids in the community as you share your cultures and interests.
Costa Rica is an ideal place for teen to discover what they can offer the world, and students on this program will tackle a number of different service projects and learn about the local community, all while exploring the beautiful coastline.
See the long-term impact of past service projects firsthand on this program, as students in the DR dig in with their own community service initiatives. Along the way you’ll hit the beach, play sports and games with local kids, and go boating.
Students on this program really get a taste of all that Peru has to offer, from visiting a popular llama farm to witnessing the breathtaking views of the Andes from all sides. There’s even a chance to meet a shaman and visit Machu Picchu.
