THE BEGINNING OF GLA’S MISSION

As the home of Global Leadership Adventures’ very first program launched in 2005, South Africa holds a iconic place in our story. Situated at the southernmost tip of the African continent, this remarkably diverse nation serves as an extraordinary living classroom for our student travelers. From world-renowned safari reserves and coastal marine ecosystems to historic townships and vibrant urban centers, South Africa offers an unparalleled environment for field-based learning. Explore wildlife conservation, study human rights history and modern social impact, and develop leadership skills alongside resilient local communities in the country where GLA’s global journey began.
