Earn college credits from Hartwick College with an optional college credit add-on to your internship.
THE DEADLINE FOR COLLEGE CREDIT REGISTRATION IS MAY 31, 2026
Global Leadership Adventures is proud to partner with Hartwick College, a private liberal arts institution based in Oneonta, New York, to offer official U.S. undergraduate college credit for students who successfully complete the Career Exploration Travel Internship program.
Through this partnership, eligible students (16+) may enroll in the optional college credit add-on and earn 3 semester credits upon successful completion of the internship coursework. Upon successful completion of the internship requirements, you will receive a transcript for transferable undergraduate credits.
The deadline for college credit registration is May 31, 2026. Students must enroll in the college credit add-on by this date in order to be formally registered with Hartwick College.
HOW IT WORKS
- Students enroll in the optional college credit add-on prior to the deadline of May 31, 2026.
- Students must be age 16+ at the time of their internship to be eligible for college credit.
- Upon successful completion of all required academic coursework, the student’s grade is submitted to Hartwick College via GLA.
- An official college transcript is issued directly from Hartwick College.
Credits are regionally accredited U.S. undergraduate credits. As with all transfer credit, acceptance at a future college or university is determined by the receiving institution. Students are responsible for confirming transfer policies with their intended university.

Why Earn College Credit in High School?
Earning college credit during high school can:

Because this is transcripted credit, students must be 16 years of age or older at the time of the program in order to enroll.
College Credit Fee: $500.00
This fee is a significant value compared to standard national tuition rates per credit hour. This fee is in addition to program tuition and covers:
- Official enrollment with Hartwick College
- Faculty evaluation and grading
- Issuance of an official college transcript
Our college credit add-on is 100% optional and is in addition to your internship tuition. Please note that once processed, the college credit fee is non-refundable
