Also, confront the challenges of preserving indigenous culture in a modernizing world. Be trained by medical professionals and get certified in CPR & First-Aid. You will visit an organic coffee plantation on-program, and learn from master artisans about traditional Guatemalan arts such as weaving. You will learn to dance salsa and nibble tasty treats in a Guatemalan chocolate class. Finally, to fully immerse yourself in the culture, you will participate in a traditional wedding ceremony and meet with a local shaman, an experience you will never forget!
