You may not have traveled with GLA this past year, but you’re a part of the GLA community – a community of alumni students, staff and our global family in all of our host countries abroad – and we want to have you back on-program this summer as an experienced leader among your peers.

Global Leadership Adventures alumni play a special part on any program. Your insights into adapting to a new culture and place, your willingness to take on any adventure, and your commitment to community service are guiding lights for fellow students and staff alike.

And many of our programs could use experienced student travelers to make that extra difference in a community in-need abroad.

YOU’RE A SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENT!

If you received an email with a link to this page, it’s because we noticed you weren’t able to enroll with us back in the fall, and staff submitted your name as an alum we should recognize and encourage to be the change again. So we wanted to invite you back one final time before summer begins to join us on a program.

And we’re doing it in a big way, by awarding you a Global Leadership Adventures Legacy Scholarship of up to $500 toward another life-changing experience abroad! That’s how much we value the opportunity to have you and your leadership skills back on the ground on one of our programs in 2020.

Your scholarship award is worth $500 toward a 14-21 day program (including our flagship programs), $300 toward a 10-12 day program, or $150 toward an 8-day program.

The deadline to redeem your Legacy Scholarship is November 30, 2019 (now, extended through December 16, 2019).

SCHOLARSHIP REDEMPTION

To redeem, simply enter the appropriate code below into ‘Scholarship code’ field on the application:

• LEGACY500 for $500 off tuition toward a 14-day or 21-day program
• LEGACY300 for $300 off tuition toward a 10-day or 12-day program
• LEGACY150 for $150 off tuition toward an 8-day program

SCHOLARSHIP SHARING

You can also share your Legacy Scholarship with a friend or family member! Can’t travel with us this spring break or summer? Give the code to a friend. Do you plan to travel with us, but know someone else who would like to enroll on a GLA program, too? You can both redeem it. It’s our way of saying thank you to our alumni, and your way to invite your friends and family to join the movement.

Remember to apply for enrollment in the program of your choice before summer programs begin. Be sure to login to your original GLA account (or call us if you can’t remember and we can help you log in or enroll over the phone).

TERMS & CONDITIONS

Scholarship funds cannot be applied toward the $400 deposit or the non-refundable $95 application fee, which are due with the application. The Legacy Scholarship can only be used toward tuition on spring break or summer 2020 GLA programs. Total financial aid cannot exceed 30% of program tuition.
