PADI Scuba Diving Adventure
Not many teenagers can say that they’ve scuba dived in one of the world’s most beautiful places—but GLA students in Bali get to do just that! Students will travel to Amed, the northeastern tip of Bali, for an exciting scuba course. During this time, expert instructors will teach you the basics so that you can explore the underwater world safely. You’ll spend time receiving classroom instruction, and then complete several dives in a pool before partaking in incredible open-water dives in the ocean of Bali!
The Bali scuba diving experience will be one you’ll never forget. The sites we’ll explore include:
- The Amed Wall (a famous coral reef in Amed’s Ghost Bay)
- A Japanese shipwreck teeming with coral and tropical fish
- The USS Liberty (a US Army transport ship torpedoed by a Japanese submarine in 1942)
- Tulamben, which boasts rare coral and marine life
