We offer two programs in Ghana: one focused on community service and leadership; the other, on learning about traditional culture by traveling to the furthest reaches of the country.
While most people connect both programs together, you can apply for either program separately.
Ghana: Heart & Soul of West Africa (3 weeks)
Our flagship program in Ghana! Join students from around the world on the campus of one of the countries top international boarding schools and learn about issues affecting West Africa as well as the rich culture of Ghana. Weekdays focus on community service and weekends are spent exploring the country.
Ghana: Insider's Tour (10 days)
Join a small, select group of intrepid travelers and venture to the most remote, furthest corners of Ghana. We make a slow arc down the country visiting tribal chiefs, sacred shrines, safari parks, musicians and other fascinating people. Although this program is not focused on community service, it is the perfect way to come face to face with a whole new world.
