Some may say that tackling our planet’s environmental challenges is almost impossible. But at Global Leadership Adventures, we believe that every individual can be part of the solution.
If you’re interested in environment, conservation and ecology, GLA has a teen study abroad program for you. Travel to Bali, India, the Galapagos Islands, Costa Rica, or the Dominican Republic, and make a lasting difference on a local community’s environmental and ecological sustainability.
For example, students in our Dominican Republic programs build water systems and homes for mountain communities as well as work on reforestation of lowland areas. In the Galapagos Islands, we restore the habitat for endangered species, and in Costa Rica we work in the cloud forest to preserve biodiversity. More than just another high school summer program – this is an experience of a lifetime.
