Program Themes: Sports & Service

Teen volunteer playing soccer with local youthDo you love sports? Do you want to make a difference in the lives of others?

GLA offers programs where you can use sports as a way to connect with local youth and serve as a role model and friend.  In many cases, children who have been orphaned or who live on the margins of society need friends, role models and encouragement.

Our programs in Costa Rica, Guatemala, Tanzania, and Dominican Republic include volunteer projects with opportunities for sports lovers to share their passion.
