“The GLA experience is a special one, because we are focused on safety. The ratio of student to instructor is 10:1. While we believe that a high school volunteer who wants to participate in our program already possesses qualities such as maturity and responsibility, it is our duty to make sure our student participants remain safe. Therefore, we only form partnerships with first-class organizations.
We have been featured in the New York Times, the Boston Globe and other major media outlets; and our founder was recently featured on CNN for his involvement in various programs. His initiative, as well as ours, is focused on giving students the opportunity for leadership enhancement, philanthropic objectives, and educational experiences.
Cost varies according to country, but tuition includes: meals, lodging, travel medical insurance, entrance fees, classes, speakers, workshops and excursions; airfare is not included.
You will earn a certificate of documented service hours, and upon communication with your high school and prospective higher education institution, you could earn supplemental credit hours.
