Katherine Finerty

Hometown
New York, USA

High School
The Dalton School

How GLA changed her life
I came to identify myself with and become close to people from other countries and backrounds, while at the same time I learned to appreciate and admire their differences in culture and lifestyle. I feel not only more globally aware, but also more self aware.

What she misses most
I miss living with my three roommates, who were from California and Ethiopia. Even though we were all so different, we became best friends within the first week.

"GLA boosted my self esteem in a way nothing else has."
