The GLA Experience
"I truly respected the speakers, especially those who spoke with passion. Something lies within the voice of a person that conveys a message of the heart, something true and sincere and hopeful. These things awake a passion within me."
—Masana M., Potchefstroom High School, South AfricaLearning
Learn this summer. And have fun while doing it.
At GLA, we believe that soaking up the richness of a country’s history and living its culture the most fulfilling way to travel abroad. This is why it’s ingrained in every aspect of our programs. Learning about a country with GLA is fun, interactive, challenging and meaningful.
How You Will Learn
You’ll share thoughts, engage in discussions with peers, question local experts, and understand timely issues. Seminars focused on the respective country’s history, culture and language are informative and thought-provoking.
In addition to classroom seminars, students also meet inspiring community leaders, social entrepreneurs, artists, journalists and politicians who each give their own perspective on a variety of profound topics.
