"For me, GLA was not just a trip - it was the beginning of a lifelong commitment to stay involved in social issues around the world. I'll always carry that experience with me, no matter what I end up working in."
Community Service
Work with innovative educational organizations that are working with the children of farming families.
You will share your talents doing arts, crafts, sports and basic conversational English. Most importantly, you will be a friend and role model. This is not just an opportunity to observe another culture and community – you will directly engage with local children.
Students will receive a certificate for 15 hours of community service.
