I'm pleased to hear of your interest in Global Leadership Adventures and look forward to the opportunity of meeting you on our 2007 program!

As a native Ghanaian, I grew up and lived in various countries throughout Africa, as well as the United States. With international exposure, a great education and strong role models behind me, I've been fortunate enough to work with top multi-national companies around the world, as well as local grassroots organizations. My experiences taught me that a global perspective is especially important in today's increasingly inter-dependent world, and this is what inspired me to create Global Leadership Adventures.

As a firm believer in the power of experiences and their ability to shape our perspectives, I created The GLA Experience, a profound and life-changing international opportunity that inspires youth to be better leaders and be mindful of global issues. Today's world is very different from what it used to be. Economies are becoming increasingly more global and technological advances are bringing people around the world closer together. Today's teens will become tomorrow's leaders and what better way to prepare for the challenges ahead, then by experiencing the world in meaningful ways, enhancing one's leadership skills, and developing international networks.

It is my sincere desire and one of my life's missions to see alumni of Global Leadership Adventures become part of a much larger community of caring global citizens. I hope you will join me in changing lives around the world and embark on this adventure of a lifetime.
